Position Overview: Our headhunting agency is currently seeking a Level 2 Vehicle Technician to join our client in Swindon. As a Level 2 Vehicle Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and customizing a variety of premium vehicles.
This role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of highly skilled technicians to deliver outstanding results.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00
- Saturday 8:00 - 1:00.
Wage:
Starting wage would be minimum of £35,000, and the rate of pay will determine how much experience you have.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs or customizations.
- Execute routine maintenance and servicing tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Perform the repair and replacement of vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
- Customize vehicles based on customer specifications, including the installation of aftermarket parts and accessories.
- Maintain meticulous records of all service and repair work conducted on vehicles.
- Stay abreast of the latest automotive technology and industry trends to ensure the highest level of service quality.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Level 2 Vehicle Technician certification or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive repair and customization.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Profound knowledge of various vehicle systems, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- An acute attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to test-drive vehicles as required.
